Will anyone be in London before the train leaves tomorrow morning?  My parents are dropping Cadi and I off at King's Cross earlier than normal (my father has some sort of work brunch to attend), and I'm not sure I fancy sitting around the station for a few hours.  I could really use a distraction.

One year come and gone.  The anniversary was... basically what I expected it to be.  I thought I'd be able to be strong, if for Cadi's sake than nothing else, but I ended up crying just as badly as she and my mother did.  Even still, I'm glad I was here for the day.

First full day of the holiday, and I'm quite ready to be back at school- or at least among friends.  Does anyone have plans for the break?

It is weird to be home.  Even almost a year later, there is still something very tangible missing here.  I'm not daft, of course, I know what's wrong, but none of us talk about it.  We haven't said what we'll do on the fifteenth, though I promised Cadi I would be here for it, regardless.  Until then, I suppose I'll just continue to walk around on tip-toe for fear of upsetting an already precarious balance.
